@theEndurancePT IMO if adding 30km is sabotaging long term success then he is already training too close to the limit for that ‘long term success’.

One of my athletes just messaged to say he added an extra 30k to an already big ride today “because the sun was shining and I got carried away”.
Easy to make that mistake this time of year.
Easy to sabotage long term success via short term sunshine, motivation & enthusiasm.
