@van_der_ende @juerglehni Hi. I couldn't come up with a decent fix for this. Only a workaround with heavy trade-offs: Limiting animation frames and animation duration and not using CSS for animation timing at all.

@juerglehni I found out how abcdinamo.com is doing it and was able to animate fonts in a way that doesn't just infinitely eat memory till it crashes. But the memory alloc still persists between page loads and (in my context) eats 80-100 MB on each page refresh. Still quite bad.
