BREAKING: Trump just attacked NATO and then goes on to say that "25 years ago" he said that NATO was a "Paper tiger" and that "they would never come to our rescue". FACT: 25 years ago was March 26, 2001. Less than 6 months after that, on September 12, 2001, NATO invoked Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty for the first and only time ever. They lost 1100 soldiers fighting for us. Trump is a Moron.

There is no reliable source confirming that @realDonaldTrump @POTUS said this. If a sitting US President had made a remark like that in a White House speech, there would be a transcript, video, and immediate coverage from major news organisations. None of that exists. The quote also contains a basic factual problem. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee appointed by the Norwegian Parliament, not by the Prime Minister of Norway. That alone raises serious doubts about its authenticity. At present, everything suggests this is simply a fabricated quote circulating on social media. If someone believes it is genuine, the simplest test is to ask for the source, a speech transcript, video, or credible news report. So far, none has been produced.

Ukrainian athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych planned to wear a helmet with photos of Ukrainian athletes killed by Russia during the 2026 Olympics. He was forbidden for doing so by the International Olympics Committee and said this decision "breaks his heart." Earlier, an Italian athlete was allowed to wear a helmet with a Russian flag on it.
