Région Pays de la Loire Tour🇨🇵 Stage 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Corbin Strong ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Gautherat, Venturini ⭐️⭐️⭐️Delettre, Isidore, L'Hote ⭐️⭐️Coquard, Hardouin, Fredheim, Loockx ⭐️Costiou, Penhoët, JHeremans, Vernon, SBennett Stage 3 looks perfectly set up for a sprint punch. The finish comes at the top of a short uphill drag of around one kilometre at roughly 5%, so this should be a classic punchy sprint finish. Because of that, my pick for the stage is Corbin Strong. The finish seems absolutely ideal for him. He has the explosiveness for this kind of uphill sprint and, if the race comes back together before the line, he looks like the strongest option. That said, Pierre Gautherat could also be a very dangerous contender. He is another rider who is very effective on this kind of uphill finish and could definitely be in the mix or he can also go solo, he is in great form. It is still a very open stage, though. There are plenty of climbs throughout the day, so the race could become more aggressive than expected. A late attack is not the most likely scenario, but it would not be a surprise to see someone like Ewan Costiou try something from further out. Clément Venturini is another rider to watch. He has been riding well recently and this kind of finish suits him very nicely. The same goes for Alexandre Delettre who is always dangerous on this sort of terrain. Within the Decathlon squad, if it is not Pierre Gautherat, then riders such as Noah Isidore or Antoine L'Hote could also take advantage of this parcours. There are also several other sprinters with a chance, including Bryan Coquard and Paul Penhoët. But overall, I think this stage suits Corbin Strong better than anyone else. #RegionTour
