Skaf, who is serving a 55-year sentence for the vile rapes, has told Goulburn jail officers: “I’m scared, I’m gonna get bashed up if I move jail - and my family won’t visit.” Skaf is one of 170 of Australia’s most notorious killers and rapists waiting to be transferred out of Goulburn Maximum Security after its 140-year-old small cells were deemed no longer “fit for purpose”. He says the move to either the more modern Junee or Clarence correctional centres would add four hours to his family’s travel time for visits. “I will get bashed up, I don’t want to move, at Goulburn I’ve got a segregated yard where people can’t get me. The prison source revealed fellow inmate — double killer Daniel Holdom — who is serving life sentences for the murders of Karlie Jade Pearce-Stevenson and her two-year-old daughter Khandalyce, is “bricking it.” The officer added: “He’s bricking it. He knows he’ll get hit bad from inmates for what he did – all child and women killers get bashed around if they are exposed and without the safety of a segregated yard. “Daniel knows what he’s done and that he’s vulnerable to attack.”

I’m not disheartened but am well aware of where we are at. Two of our most indispensable pillars go down & a bunch of fresh pistons for the engine room are still unpacked. I have no doubt the players are giving their best but we were outgunned by a better unit in the 2nd half.🐯
