I’ll tell you what.. always been a Jolly Ol’ St Nick guy but being able to tell your daughter that if she doesn’t go to bed, Santa won’t come and it work is rather sweet. She normally utilizes every ounce of juice her body has to stay up.. every night is a bedtime story/song “sleepy” tone delivery Olympics. Any sense of energy she feels or hears from you amplifies the light inside of her.. she has immaculate vibes, it will be a great trait for her long term in this life but at night.. boy it’s high pressure to execute as a dad who watches mom CRUSH it on a regular basis. Tonight… as soon as we dropped the Santa information.. OUT LIKE A LIGHT.. what a DELIGHT THANK YOU SANTA MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.. and to Mackenzie.. GOOD NIGHT BABY GIRL, the morning is about to be awesome. Santa’s on his way 🔨🪛🔩🎁

ANONYMOUS INBOX: My girlfriend and I have been together a little over a year, and things are great. The issue is… she wants us to combine finances, and I’m just not ready for that. She recently suggested that we open a joint checking account for “shared expenses” and start putting part of our paychecks into it every month. Her point is that it’s the next big step if we’re building a life together. But we don’t live together yet. We’re not married. And honestly, I like having my money separate.  But she told me that my hesitation makes her feel like I’m not as serious about our relationship as she is. I love her, but I’m not ready to share a bank account with someone. How do I tell her that without making her feel like I don’t see a future with her?
