James Broadnax's wife, British law graduate Tiana Krasniqi, reportedly screamed and banged against the window as he was executed. She reportedly began a relationship with Broadnax after writing to him while he was in prison. Krasniqi claims her husband, whom she married just a few weeks ago, did not commit the crimes; however, prosecutors say he admitted to the killings in jailhouse interviews. Broadnax was convicted of killing two men during a robbery in Dallas, Texas, in 2008. "They killed my husband," Krasniqi said. "My husband suffered so bad from the lethal injection that he had a nosebleed and bruising on his neck. The families laughed as they watched. Is that justice?"
