Fluton and the Structural Weakness of Fully Observable Markets Fully observable markets sound efficient in theory. In practice, they create extraction layers that feed on visibility itself. In DeFi, almost every meaningful action becomes observable before settlement completes. Transactions enter the mempool, execution paths become traceable, and state updates expose positioning changes in real time. MEV bots, arbitrage systems, and sophisticated searchers continuously monitor this flow to predict behavior before outcomes finalize. The result is a market structure where visibility itself becomes a resource to exploit. This creates systemic inefficiencies beyond simple front-running. Traders experience degraded execution quality. LPs leak positioning data. Strategies lose durability because execution doubles as public disclosure. Over time, the market rewards infrastructure proximity more than actual decision quality. Fluton addresses this at the execution layer rather than the application layer. Instead of relying on optional privacy tools after exposure already occurs, it reduces real-time information leakage during computation itself. Transactions can be validated over encrypted state while limiting visibility into intermediate execution details before final settlement. That distinction matters because it changes where extraction becomes possible. There are trade-offs. Lower observability can reduce immediate market coordination and weaken certain arbitrage mechanisms that help synchronize prices across protocols. Full transparency does improve short-term efficiency in some contexts. But fully observable systems also create structural instability by turning every action into exploitable data. People usually think “speed” in crypto just means faster transactions. But after watching this, I realized speed is really about economics. A few milliseconds can decide: -> who captures the MEV (Mean Time Value) -> who gets the better trade -> which validator earns more -> which network feels usable under pressure It’s similar to the early days of video streaming. Netflix didn’t become great just because the internet got faster it improved how data moved, compressed, and reached users efficiently. Blockchains are entering that same phase now. The next generation of infrastructure won’t just be about TPS numbers. It’ll be about how efficiently information moves across the network. Because in distributed systems, speed is money.
