@vanguardcodee 3D to 2D on the inventory is a smart usability call, cleaner usually wins. And satisfying upgrade effects are worth every minute of polish. Solid update.

Dev Log #4 🔥 Completely changed the inventory in Cube Colosseum. It used to be 3D, now it’s fully 2D and way cleaner. Also improved the gem effects when upgrading weapons. They feel more satisfying now when you power up your gear. Still adjusting some details, but it’s looking much better. #DevLog #IndieDev #GameDev #CubeColosseum

Hey guys, I'm back with more information about the video game I'm developing. I'd like to bring you a more complete gameplay video, exploring each of its mechanics. The game has the following: A codex where you can collect all your items, weapons, armor, gems, etc. I plan for this codex to reward you as you fill each section, just like a sticker album. I have a progressive skill tree system where each skill can be upgraded to maximize its potential. A gem system to add to weapons and armor. Adding gems enhances the weapon or armor. I'm currently working on improving this system. I have many weapons and armor sets, and I plan to add many more. My game's voxel system is versatile for adding new content, which I did so that players can create mods or improve the game in the future if they wish. And most importantly: I've improved the game's destruction system, so I plan to add multi-player battles. I want to create a team of gladiators and fight against many gladiators at once. I plan to make the game with infinite rounds, or at least a very large number of rounds. I want everything to be procedurally generated and for it to be very fun for the player. I'd like you to give me suggestions and things to add to the game so I can hear from everyone and make it even cooler and more appealing to the community. I'll post screenshots of the game and its various mechanics in the comments section. PS: In the previous post, you asked me to add throwing weapons, a machete, and a katar. Dev Log #2 今回のアップデートでは Cube Colosseum の戦闘周りをいじりました。 回避システムを追加して、攻撃を避けられるようにしました。ヒットボックスも少し直してます。 あと、宝石のシステムも改善。武器に付けたジェムを外したり、場所を移動したり、他の武器に移したりできるようになりました。 ちょっとだけ遊びやすくなったと思います。 // 这次更新主要做了 Cube Colosseum 的战斗部分。 加了闪避系统,现在可以躲开攻击了。同时也把命中判定(hitbox)调整了一下。 另外把宝石系统也改了一下,现在武器上的宝石可以拆下来、换位置,还能直接移到别的武器上。 手感比之前好不少。 #DevLog #IndieDev #GameDev #CubeColosseum

Dev Log #1 🔥 I improved the hit effects and overall combat feel. focused on: • New visual impacts when landing a hit • Heavier, more satisfying sounds • Small feedback details like camera shake, particles, and impact shake Combat feels way more brutal now.
