International Women’s Day was earlier this month. Here’s a roundup of celebrations that occurred across our EMEA teams. London: Our EMEA Women’s Network hosted a session with “SheCanEngineer” focused on allyship and creating psychologically safe workplaces. Johannesburg: Small moments made an impact, with roses and cupcakes shared to recognize the women on site. Dublin: Teams came together for a contractor-led event celebrating the contributions and impact of women across our projects. Frankfurt: Celebrating while supporting local, with cupcakes from Steffi’s Süße Momente. Vantage Data Centers welcomed 200+ job seekers to a two-day Career Expo at Port Washington High School in Wisconsin on March 27–28. Hosted with several hiring partners – @Oracle, Gurtz Electric Co., H.J. Today, Vantage announced a partnership with the Malaysia Forest Fund, an agency under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability of Malaysia, to advance Malaysia’s sustainability agenda through the Penjaga Gunung (Mountain Guardian) project in Selangor. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening forest conservation efforts and environmental sustainability. Fitri Abdullah, country managing director of Malaysia for Vantage, represented us at today’s conservation agreement exchange ceremony, witnessed by His Highness Crown Prince of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and YB Dato’ Sri Arthur Joseph Kurup, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. "Our support for Penjaga Gunung turns conservation into high-caliber, meaningful career opportunities. We are shaping a future where sustainable livelihoods and professional skills development go hand in hand with protecting the planet,” said Fitri. The program empowers youth from the Orang Asli community with certified skills in eco-tourism and conservation, helping protect Selangor’s forest reserves while creating sustainable livelihoods, restoring biodiversity and protecting indigenous cultural heritage. Our Cardiff team recently organized a food run for the Cardiff Foodbank, a service operated by Family Action. Our team recently took part in RISE 2026: The Future of Sport, Careers and Innovation Festival, where we had the opportunity to connect with young people from West London and share more about careers in the data center industry. Our team hosted a table throughout the event, speaking with students about the different pathways into our sector and the wide range of roles that help power the digital world. Happy International Women’s Day. We are proud to celebrate the incredible women across our teams and the impact they make every day. We are pleased to highlight Melanie Chung, senior project manager within our North America construction delivery team. Our Frontier team in Shackelford County, Texas, including general contractor @kiewit recently volunteered with the Food Bank of West Central Texas, packing more than 1,000 boxes of food and breaking the standing volunteer record for most boxes packed in a single day!
