Our APAC team recently wrapped up Safety Week with strong engagement and positive energy—an impactful week that reinforced our safety-first culture, grounded in respect and care. We delivered an enriching program across APAC campuses, including hands-on emergency response drills, a blood donation campaign, tree planting and greener office initiatives, alongside expert-led workshops covering heat stress management, fire safety awareness, workplace ergonomics, hearing conservation and other wellbeing topics, as well as recognition of our safety champions. Our team recently attended a community engagement event at Germanna Community College in Virginia alongside local employers and community organizations. One of the highlights from the event was learning more about Germanna’s Data Center Technician program and the opportunities being created for students interested in technology and digital infrastructure careers. We had a successful event at Fairfield Career & Tech School, bringing together education and industry. Vantage Data Centers, Cosi, Turner Construction and a range of partners recently came together to showcase STEAM career opportunities and drive meaningful student engagement. More than 200 students took part, gaining exposure to career pathways, emerging technologies and the industries shaping the future workforce. Join us for the Vantage Data Centers Safety Summit 2026 where industry leaders, safety professionals and key stakeholders will come together to advance safety culture across data centers and construction. The full day event will feature keynote presentations from Leif Babin of Echelon Front on leadership and accountability in high stakes environments and Patrick Nelson of Leadership Point on empowering individuals to strengthen safety outcomes. Expert panels will bring together Vantage leaders including North America President Dana Adams and Senior Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety Trey Dean alongside leaders from Kiewit, Turner Construction, DPR Construction, Whiting-Turner and Rosendin. Discussions will focus on leadership, accountability and building a proactive safety culture. In addition, live demonstrations will highlight how technologies such as AI-driven risk mitigation and robotics are helping teams identify hazards and improve safety performance. We recently celebrated International Data Center Day by hosting our first workforce development event with Johnstown Monroe High School. We welcomed more than 100 students for a hands-on experience exploring careers in the data center industry. From live equipment demonstrations to showcasing the school’s Electrical Trades and Advanced Engineering Technologies programs, students saw how the industry comes to life. The Data Center Exploration Fair gave students the opportunity to connect directly with unions, schools and industry partners to learn more about pathways after high school. With Central Ohio continuing to grow as a data center hub, it was great to introduce students to the numerous opportunities available right in their community. Special thanks to Gina Grimaldi for leading the event. We had a strong turnout at our Career Expo in Albany, Texas, recently, reflecting the momentum behind our data center development in Shackelford County. More than 130 attendees joined the April 18 event to connect with our team and learn about construction jobs and long-term opportunities tied to the project. Among those in attendance were local students and community members exploring career pathways in the industry. The event also brought together partners Oracle, Driven Services, Dynamic Systems (DSI) LLC, Integrated Technology and Security LLC, Kiewit and Volta Grid who were also onsite recruiting for open roles. In honor of Earth Week, our team in Port Washington, Wisconsin, partnered with general contractors @michelscorp, @TurnerConstruct, @McCarthyBuild, @WhitingTurner and @TheWeitzCompany, along with local organizations to give back through hands-on volunteer events. Together, we planted trees with Lakeshore Natural Resource Partners (LNRP) at Birchwood Hills Nature Area, helped clean up South Beach alongside the City of Port Washington, and planted additional trees with Ozaukee County at Clay Bluff Cedar Nature Preserve. Key highlights: - 31 volunteers - 21.6 lbs. of trash collected - 100+ tress planted Thanks to everyone who showed up, pitched in and helped make our community a little greener. Our own Pam Lyons, community engagement specialist based in Port Washington, Wisconsin, recently took part in the Women Who Lead event hosted by Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women and Marquette University. The event brought together college students from across Milwaukee County to connect with industry professionals, explore career pathways and build their networks.
