Alternative icons should be explored however the current icon leans only towards Islamic way of prayer and is not inclusive to secular fabric of India, current Icon has alienating and discouraging phycological impact on passengers of other faiths to use the facilities. I am putting this forward after working with countless Icons, Icon systems and studying religious symbolism in graphic design as a professional designer for fifteen plus years.
