Rejection sucks and I don’t like it and I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to plow thru a bunch of it hoping that it will eventually work. If it feels like it probably won’t work, yeah of course u don’t wanna do it. Do something else. Honestly rejecting people sucks real bad too. Both sides of it are awful. Let’s just not do it anymore. Instead of asking people out in a way that forces a yes/no answer, do smthn that allows more plausible deniability. Ask for a v small thing where u don’t mind if they decline, and also they don’t feel pressured to give a real answer, and no one’s inherent worth is on the line.
