@nickarkis @RenfailSoL While Starfield isn’t in need of a major overhaul, it’s time to admit that Bethesda’s formula is in need of one. While their games were groundbreaking years ago, they have not evolved beyond that formula because of complacency. That’s a problem that needs to be addressed.

@RenfailSoL Starfield isn't in need of a major overhaul in the way Cyberpunk was. I honestly think some people have just moved on from Bethesda style games. And that's okay! Tastes change. But I want Bethesda to make Bethesda games. I don't expect them to make a Witcher 3 or Baldur's Gate 3.

@AvowedtheGame Looks like the performance issues on PC will likely remain after this update, as nothing was covered in Mortismal’s update about performance. I liked the game, but couldn’t deal with the massive frame time issues it has.

Just finished this game on PC and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s a slow start but once it clicked, it just clicked. DS has one of the most unique stories in gaming. There’s nothing like it.

I thought the story was phenomenal. While it wasn’t paced well, the story itself was unique and memorable. I’ll be the first to admit I almost quit playing the game, but at hour 15 the story and gameplay started to click and I wanted to keep going. Beat the game last Friday and I’ve since moved on to DS2 on the PS5.

Death Stranding Directors Cut is only $10 on Steam.. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t played to give it a go.. Although it’s not for everyone it’s a game where once you’re hooked there’s no going back.. unforgettable experience 🔥

Hi. There would be no Alan Wake 2 without Epic Publishing. The publishing deal with Epic was very fair to Remedy. While these complex deals can often take even a year to reach their conclusion, and may not always be fair to the developer, this one was. And it only took months to get done. Epic Games was, and is, an excellent partner to us. Steam or no Steam.

I tried that as well but it still shows “SR OVR Inactive, Off” on my NVIDIA overlay. I uninstalled and reinstalled the NVIDIA app, but still the same result. Starfield and Spiderman Remastered show “SR OVR Preset M, Off”. I’m not sure why it shows something different for different games, but even the games that acknowledge Preset M in the overlay still say “Off”.

@MollieDamon The fact that she’s been there so long just shows that nothing will change under this new leadership. But that’s probably a good thing for fans that enjoy SW adjacent. LF needs a fresh perspective, not the same old tropes we’ve seen over the last decade.

Lynwen Brennan, new co-president of Lucasfilm, has been with the company longer than Dave Filoni. She started in 1999 at ILM, later became the president of ILM and helped solidify it as the gold standard in visual effects globally. Let's celebrate her promotion with Dave 👏

Sadly, wholesome as this is, it’s against @valvesoftware’s TOS. They really need to add a clause which allows an account to be passed on after a user’s death. If the beneficiary is required to provide a death certificate and a will, I don’t even see how it could be abused

Both Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan served under Kennedy and believe in her vision. While Kennedy had a few hits, the vast majority were misses while Lucasfilm President. Not to mention so many projects announced that mysteriously “vanished”. Most likely nothing will change under this “new” leadership.

First, for all the crap Kathleen Kennedy took, we did get Andor and The Mandalorian under her watch. She deserves credit for those as much as criticism for other stuff. Now, I feel great that Lucasfilm has put Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan in charge: ign.com/articles/kathl…

@JamieMoranUK Overall, I enjoyed the game content but the stuttering on PC made it basically unplayable.

Avowed was a great Fantasy RPG experience. You can tell Xbox ‘s Obsidian really listen to feedback and improve every further Role Playing Game they make. Combat was my favourite part From XboxSeriesX

Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge will no longer be set in the time period of the sequel trilogy and will be less of an in-universe Star Wars experience for visitors beginning April 29. Kylo Ren has been shelved, while Rey will only be seen around the Rise of the Resistance ride. In their place are Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.
