R.I.P. Army Staff Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington The family of a U.S. service member who died in combat during the conflict in Iran was seen gathering in Fort Knox, Kentucky, on Friday as his body was brought to Godman Airfield for a dignified transfer. Army Staff Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington, 26, was from Glendale. He was the seventh U.S. service member to die in the conflict, succumbing to his injuries a week after being wounded during a March 1 attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, according to the Pentagon. Thank you Staff Sgt. Pennington for your ultimate sacrifice. Prayers for your family, friends, and brother and sisters in the Army.

My son was born at 34 weeks. I held him in my single hand and after a two week precautionary stay in special care, he’s now a thriving, fit and healthy little boy. Killing a baby at 34 weeks is murder.

He’s right. Housing is infrastructure. If you don’t build it, your economy stalls and your people leave. We don’t have a land shortage. We have a permission shortage. That’s why prices soar and young people leave. Not enough homes. Too many barriers. Free up the market. Build homes. Restore opportunity. Otherwise London will keep pricing its young people out.

What is happening to house building in London is a national disgrace and a huge economic own goal. Worse, it stymies social mobility, locking young people from poorer families and from other parts of the UK out of the London labour market.
