He was only a minority owner when he was a player. Then he got rid of his shares when he fully retired. He didn't show his face until he started the Charlotte Bobcats because the Hornets moved to New Orleans. Then, he made a deal to swap franchise names to bring the Hornets back to Charlotte. Then, New Orleans became the Pelicans. It wasn't until a few years back Jordan sold the Hornets. Then the Last Dance came out. Then he started his Nascar team. But during the ownership time in basketball when he wasn't a player, you hardly ever saw his face.
