Pauline is so accustomed to getting away with made-up bullshit that any pushback seems to stun her. Her reply — ‘well what is the number?’ — after being caught in a lie is everything. Hopeless. Inept. Exposed.

I’d just like to check in on something while I’ve got your attention. In 2022 Labor promised us that we’d enjoy $275 cheaper electricity bills. How are my bills up?

@vcolaci @theoztrucker Dumb answer if the UNIPARTY didn’t shut down the other refineries we would have no issues at all.. and the same goes for the fertiliser it all comes out of the Middle East. They’re a joke. We need to bring all our fertiliser to be made back in Australia.🇦🇺

Right back to where we were before Albo cut the excise. He was lauded as compassionate etc etc. I wonder what they’ll call him when he slaps it back on?

@AustRepublican @AnonymousFrypan Seriously, I didn’t talk down. I gave options and said we’re all being gouged. So what’s your constructive advice for a renter needing immediate energy relief?

You didn't provide options, you talk down to people who are victims of circumstance. Circumstances that you politically support You think global coal demand is down? It's going up. What "company decision" when Govt tells them they won't allow them to operate past a certain date. Market forces? Like how Labor has had to scramble to extend power plant life spans because the lies of renewables have come home to roost Like how Government energy policy has made manufacturing so expensive that smelters need massive Government bailout to remain open. Even our sovereign fuel capacity is the fault of multiple governments.

F'n crucify me for offering various options and assistance. Energy outcomes come from company decisions + market forces + government policy. Blaming only government ignores commercial reality. In fact, Insurance pressure and foreign exits were contributing factors. The economics of coal simply deteriorated.

I don't guess to tell you how to live your life. It was you who critises other people, told them how much better you were and you demanded they stop being poor and just spend 10s of 1000s $$. And out of curiosity, the Government is far more involved in business today than it was 30 years ago. What has gotten better? Is it more competitive? "It's not Govt, it's Companies" Do you not understand what Red tape is? Do you not understand Govt lobbying and politicians using the State to control business. The same power companies you bleat about wanted to upgrade their power stations, The Govt told them not to, it was the Govt that said they would shut them down, the Govt dictates energy prices, the Govt approves projects Not the free market.

$400 billion in government spending. That is about $20,000 per household per year. Most families are cutting back. Government is not.

FFS FO! Calling people “thick” while offering zero solutions is peak empty can politics 🍺 I’m not a socialist. Too easy to slap labels on anyone you don’t like instead of engaging in the debate. BTW “It’s not govt, it’s companies” Who sets the rules, approves mergers, enforces competition? The answer is not more government. It’s better government and real competition. Markets need referees. Government needs accountability. You’ve offered neither. Just noise. #AusPol #CostOfLiving #Energy #CompetitionPolicy

If the taxpayer is paying - then whatever that program is should only be available to citizens. Not permanent residents. Not refugees. Not tourists. Not students. But Australian citizens. Everyone else can pay their own way. That's how it is in other countries.

Seriously retailers are gouging you. If you have solar or a battery, wholesale can be much cheaper, sometimes even free and paying you. G’day! I’ve been enjoying cheaper and greener energy with Amber’s wholesale rates and I thought you might too, so here’s my Amber referral code to switch your energy. Use this code to join Amber and we will both get a discount off our next Amber bill! PS It only takes 3 minutes to switch and start saving. #EnergyAustralia #PowerPrices #AmberElectric #SolarPower #HomeBattery #WholesaleEnergy #EnergySavings #CostOfLiving #GoRenewable #AusEnergy Here's the link: mates.amber.com.au/PJUTHKKK?utm_s…

Deaths on roads 10% Human Error But AI Must Be Flawless or Finished “Tesla self-driving .... doesn’t mean it’s perfect, of course.” Even with a projected 10x safety improvement over human drivers, FSD would still prevent roughly 90% of the world’s approximately one million annual auto fatalities. The remaining 10%—roughly 100,000 deaths—would expose Tesla to relentless lawsuits. Meanwhile, the vast majority of lives saved would go unnoticed. The 90% who are still alive mostly won’t even know that Tesla saved them. Nonetheless, it is the right thing to do.” #AI #FSD #Tesla #RoadSafety #TechEthics #HumanVsAI #DoubleStandards #RiskTolerance teslarati.com/elon-musk-reve…

@CameronWestaway @EddyJokovich @Thejimpenman WT? @grok Confirm In December 2025, Labor announced a gas reservation policy mandating 15-25% of east coast LNG production for domestic use from 2027. Also, when does John Howard's 2005 gas export deals end?

Everyone is talking about 'winning from the centre' of politics. Where is that centre? How are you defining it - ideologically? It seems to me people are just claiming 'the centre' as whatever they think is 'morally virtuous' and 'modern'. How can anyone 'win from the centre' if it has no definition?
