Let’s be honest, Labour’s brilliant #BroadbandForAll policy has landed a massive blow on Boris Johnson today. It came out of nowhere, they didn’t get a sniff of it. Now they don’t know how to construct a sensible response. Big win for Corbyn today, and there’s more to come.

We will deliver free full-fibre broadband to everybody, in tranches, and we'll begin with those currently experiencing the worst quality broadband. As I said in my speech today, it's coming to Lancaster, the North West and elsewhere.

We'll make the very fastest broadband free for all. Instead of you forking out for your monthly bill, we’ll make sure the tech giants like Amazon, Facebook and Google pay their fair share in tax. That's real change.

The idea that the tech giants should pay their taxes to fund the broadband service that provides their profit is brilliant in its simplicity. Labour are looking much more like The Jetsons compared to the Conservatives Flintstones. Forward thinking 21st century policies.

Sajid Javid is running scared of debating with me and completely understandably, as the Tories are inventing silly figures which Labour would pull apart in a public debate. Clearly the Tories can’t even cost their own programme.

Last year it was revealed that Boots were charging the NHS over £3,000 for a cancer relieving mouthwash - that normally sells for £93. This is the same Boots, registered in the US, that doesn't even have to make their tax affairs public. It’s time for real change.

Can you imagine if Jeremy Corbyn was at the cenotaph, looking like he’d had a fight with a Flymo, walking at the wrong time and laying down a wreath the wrong way up? The right-wing media would tell you it’s damning proof of his awfulness. But Johnson? He gets a free pass.
