#BREAKING Arvind Kejriwal files an additional affidavit in the Delhi High Court stating that Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma’s son and daughter are empanelled as Central Government Counsel. Kejriwal says that they are allotted work by the Solicitor General, who appeared for CBI before Justice Sharma. This, according to him, created a reasonable apprehension of bias on the part of Justice Sharma, requiring her recusal from hearing CBI’s plea against the discharge in the liquor policy case.

#BREAKING: A new turn in the Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma’s recusal case. Former Delhi Chief Minister @ArvindKejriwal has filed an additional affidavit in his application seeking recusal. Relying on my report and RTI response, Kejriwal points to the empanelment and work-allocation figures concerning Justice Sharma’s children, Ishaan Sharma and Shambhavi Sharma. “I state that subsequent to the filing of my recusal application, certain material facts came to my knowledge when they were released in the public domain on 9th April, 2026 by a Legal Reporter, Mr. Saurav Dass... I state that these are not nominal or honorary post awarded by the Central Government. These are continuing professional engagements under the Central Government, carrying with them Government briefs, Government work, Court visibility and financial benefit arising from the allocation of legal work by Central Government,” he states. Pointing out that the Solicitor General of India allocates cases to her children, the dischargee states that the political sensitivity of the case “materially sharpens the conflict and amplifies the apprehension of bias”. “But in a criminal case of this nature, where the prosecuting agency is the CBI, where the Central Government’s highest law officers appear against me, and where the immediate family members of the Hon’ble Judge hold multiple live Central Government panel engagements and receive Government work through the same legal establishment and law officer, the apprehension becomes direct, grave and impossible for me to ignore.” Kejriwal has also sought time for oral arguments, stating that the Court had not indicated it would conclude the hearing on the same day by sitting beyond court hours. He has further asserted his right to make rejoinder submissions.

नोएडा में श्रमिक आंदोलन के दौरान हुई हिंसा श्रमिकों के साथ लंबे समय से हो रहे शोषण और अन्याय की प्रतिक्रिया है । नोएडा-ग्रेटर नोएडा क्षेत्र में स्थापित उद्योगों में श्रमिकों के साथ पशुवत व्यवहार किया जाता है। ज्यादातर कंपनियां ठेके पर चल रही हैं । 10 से 12 घंटे काम कराया जाता है । न्यूनतम वेतन तक नहीं दिया जाता । अन्य सुविधाएं नहीं दी जाती । अनेकों बार श्रमिकों ने अपनी मांगे उठाई हैं और उन मांगों के लिए आंदोलन किया है । लेकिन सिस्टम इतना संवेदनहीन हो चुका है कि जब तक आंदोलन में हिंसा न हो वह जगता ही नहीं । तोड़फोड़, आगजनी और हिंसा होने के बाद ही सरकार संज्ञान लेती है, उसके बाद ही श्रम विभाग जगता है, राजनीतिक लोग प्रतिक्रिया देते हैं । यहां तक कि मीडिया भी इसके बाद ही खबरें दिखाता है। यदि समय रहते श्रमिकों की बात सुनी जाती, उनकी समस्याएं हल की जाती तो यह नौबत ना आती । अभी भी सरकार और प्रशासन को गंभीरता से विचार करते हुए श्रमिकों की समस्याओं को हल करना चाहिए ।
