Plus she has the right to decide if that’s the life she’d wanna live and it not just thrusted upon her without consent or knowledge.

Amber was a fine character up until the "plot twist". Before then, her questioning why Mark was always disappearing was completely reasonable. It put massive pressure on Mark, but it was fine *because she didn't know*. But then apparently she did know. The entire time. Now those scenes have gone from interesting drama to intentional guilt tripping. The writers made her look worse for the sake of a subversion.
