Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend and partner in crime, Chris. I hope you’ll welcome him with open arms. If I love him, you know he’s a good guy. I’ve always been reticent to share my personal life online, but it feels disingenuous to keep hiding my relationship after this many years together. You all are my internet family, and Chris loves you guys like I do. He reads comments and watches everything! He has my back like no other man. I’ve been in rooms with all types of cool and interesting people, but no one comes close to Chris. He’s my rock. He gives me the confidence to go out in the world and have adventures, because I know he’s home when I walk back through the door. I remember when I decided to go to Iowa in the Summer of 2023 to cover the Republican Primary events. I was just making videos upstairs on my phone, but he said go for it. I didn’t know anyone in politics or media. But I knew if I went and failed or got into trouble, he was just a call and flight away. With my career, I was able to take big swings and chances because of Chris. I still do. Thank you for welcoming and showing him love. All my friends adore him. In fact, they call him now to chat instead of me! Uh oh! I love you all, and if you’re alone on Valentine’s I’m thinking of you too, so you’re in my heart. ♥️

The musical genius Brian Wilson was the closest America ever got to competing with the extraordinary brilliance of the Beatles. His passing is a reminder of when Rock n Roll became an expression of exuberance, and experimentation, combining guitar with orchestral instruments to create a truly unique and beautiful sound that is timeless and raised the art form to something closer to Mozart or Bach. That I got to actually meet Brian Wilson is something that I still find humbling and truly awe inspiring. As long as there are teenagers, sunshine the beach, loneliness, first loves and surfer girls, Brian Wilson’s music will live on forever…
