@veiledandvoid i usually just choose smth light while reading harder ones. if i'm reading nonfic, i'll take up a fiction that has common themes or vibe and another random book that's unrelated to really get my head off things sometimes lol

I know it's perfectly fine to read multiple books at once (as in, alternating between them) but I can't bring myself to do it even though I know it would fix my attention span towards reading. Someone reassure me I'm not going to get eaten for cheating on my main book #booktwt

@requieminsilver Reading tracking apps do help. I just know I would get through books so much easier if I was able to alternate between them
I also just have too much choice I think. I have so many books to read

@veiledandvoid god, i felt the same way, but for whatever reason the percentage tracker on reading apps (once i started using them) made me feel more neutral towards it. i started picking up 2+ books without even realising eventually

@crimsonsfilm Well the orange list is books I've read (the range is also limited there but.. Yknow) and the yellow is still just books/genres I'm interested in but haven't watched. I don't know if that helps I'm so sorry I consume very little media I'm working on it 🥀
