It was lovely to join @velevitch at In the Mix this evening in South #Kilburn. I’ve helped raise more funding for this Refugee & Asylum Seeker supper club to grow in #Brent. 🥘 This will mean In the Mix can continue to cook and serve meals to help around 100 people in the area.

The Trade Union Movement steps up once again to tackle rising food poverty in #Brent ✊🏻 I’ve been working with @unitetheunion to raise £6000 for the #Brent Surplus Food Market to help support 500 families every week. It’s the power of our unions that will help END food hunger.

🗞️ My @bktimes column on our success in helping to open a Surplus Food Market with @LondonsCKitchen to tackle food hunger and waste. Ending referrals & transitioning to open, as well as free surplus food markets, is critical to ending stigma. Everyone has a #RightToFood.
