Didn't expect my statement to be so contraversial. Let me revise my opinion to diabetics can have whatever they need in hospital. If a coke works, excellent. But could we encourage good healthy nutrition for patients? Wound care recovery requires 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight with a focus on vitamins A, K and C. Nutrition is incredibly important in healing.
