Sad to report that the layoffs are already underway. Was just informed by a Coliseum employee that around 40 Legends contracted employees who work concessions are being walked out as I type this. They were told more to come tomorrow including A’s employees.

@CaseyPrattABC7 It’s a shame that this is happening but the LV A’s will eventually develop a new fan base. Vegas locals can say that they won’t support it but eventually they will. They have NFL, NHL, F1 and now MLB. That’s pretty impressive.

Manfred’s continuous disrespect for Oakland fans will turn off this market completely. A’s fans know better. Not gonna help pack the Las Vegas stadium which will rely on the tourism of said fans whose intelligence he’s insulting. Great business leader. #MLB

I’m torn about all the A’s caps, shirts, jerseys, and jackets I have. If they keep the green and gold in LV, I don’t see myself wearing any of it again. If they change the team colors, I’ll wear my stuff to honor the team’s history and memories in Oakland.

@26DrDeath I totally agree but if we’ve learned anything from the past few weeks it’s that MLB does not care about the fans even though the fans pay for MLB. It’s a sad situation.
