Great Britain reaches 30°C almost each year. This has always been the case despite global warming. Y’all should get A/C; it isn’t going to jack up your electric bill a lot because it won’t be used except for the handful of days per year you’d need it. Even a portable one would do.
New Orleans, on the other hand, has only received plowable snow (≥2”) twice in the last 100 years: 4.5” on December 1st, 1963 and 8.2” on January 21st, 2025. So, yeah, the lack of plows there makes more sense than y’all refusing to live like first worlders.
