Interesting: Islamic Pakistan renames and restores landmark sites in Lahore to their pre-Partition names, including Hindu-linked names. (The changes may seem cosmetic and virtue-signalling after post Partition a small Hindu population was marginalised and reduced to second class citizens in Pakistan but are still a welcome change). For example, Babri Masjid Chowk renamed to Jain Mandir Road. In ‘secular’ India, renaming politics at times going in opposite direction as we look to erase a key period of our history to score political points. We should cherish our diversity, not eliminate it . livemint.com/news/world/bab…

@araghchi How can you claim victory when your supreme leader and majority of the entire leadership have been wiped out? You don’t have a navy now. Most of your IRGC leaders have also been eliminated. Still if you feel it’s victory, enjoy.

Months after initiation of war on Iran, US Congress acknowledges loss of dozens of aircraft worth billions. Our powerful Armed Forces are confirmed as 1st to strike down a touted F-35. With lessons learned and knowledge we gained, return to war will feature many more surprises.

@veenavenugopal How do you gauge the anger and anxiety of India’s middle class? As a middle-class person living in Kerala—where Modi has less support—I still back him because I see no reason not to.

Perhaps for the first time in his tenure, there appears to be considerable anger — or at least anxiety — among Modi’s core voter base: middle-class India. as.ft.com/r/79755fe7-241…

I’m speechless. An army chief who was witness to the deaths of his soldiers in the valley through non-conventional warfare perpetrated from across the border for decades, despite the various rounds of talks, is still talking of negotiations? How do you negotiate a ‘just settlement’ with a religious fundamentalist armed with an automatic rifle, whose only aim is to exterminate your country and countrymen because he can’t own it by force?

@RiseofBurnol @ChoraRajasthan Freebies are often used to win elections. BJP faced setbacks in 2024 due to opposition scored by announced freebies. It’s time for the people to mature and think beyond freebies to move past this cycle.

Simple question Why the hell govt living freebies why cant they cut it off. Is it justice? Just you want to be in the power just want us to pay These freebies MANREGA n all are schemes of politician to fill there own pocket. India needs to quit freebies or else we are over.
RiseOfBurnol🇮🇳@RiseofBurnol

When it comes to India Lets make few points clear before I continue -I am a BJP supporter and I am a critic to congress But this time this points are not about any party It's about India So let's keep party and political support aside for sometime and focus just on India - I hope any BJP or congress supporter reading this is Indian first and will behave accordingly!! - India imports 80% of its crude from other countries as naturally we are not very rich in that area. Our land don't support it And we are paying for this import in foreign currencies Sometimes we are trying to settle the payment in local currencies but broadly speaking we are far from achieving the breaking point. - When crude was very low Indian govt didn't reduce the prices and it was due to many reasons Few being repayment of huge Burden of loan and oil bonds which India was carrying for 2 decades, Covid Hit, freebies, free ration, support to citizen activities through various schemes and many more.. Every govt have its own way of dealing things Congress did it differently and BJP is doing it differently - Frankly speaking, Till now the situation is managed well but now things will change every minute. What happened till now Almost all world countries increased the local fuel prices by almost 50% to 60% sharply That's called real rise But India recently started with 3% - Commercial fuel and gases are already increased in India putting additional burden on all companies and commercial activities which will lead to high ppi inflation and higher cost for industrial goods - Retail inflation, means our day to day needs are still near the old prices as fuel was not increased and govt and OMCs took hit and burden till now But how long? It's not possible to take more and now it will start to pass.. - As fuel prices increase, people and opposition talk about petrol But it's not just petrol It's total household Increase in petrol means increase in prices of logistics, transportation, carrying cost, and holding cost to an industry which already took burden due to recent spikes in lpg and fuel - so overall Prime minister is preparing people for the worst. He knows that these things will turn ugly quickly and be it any govt in power, it will helpless due to dependency of oil abroad - Retail inflation will spike, forget just about basics like veggies and groceries, forget about rate cuts, rate hikes can also happen Rate hike means increased EmI to already burdened people and sudden pressure - Markets will fall as Crude spikes, inflation spikes and Rate hikes speculation rises and system will start collapsing from left right and centre -Thanks to solid planning and double Foreign currencies reserves in last 7 years to 700 billion dollars we are not facing this situation immediately But if things don't change soon and fast, it will start depleting too - Right now situation is not Panicking but about preparation More fuel Hikes are imminent, we can see 2+2+3+2 like fuel rate hikes in next few weeks and without sudden shock, govt will try to Suppress and hold things as much as possible - People must make sure to stop spending too much and start saving immediately as I see 20-25% rise in their expenditure if this things continues and later they will not get time to prepare or plan and that's what prime minister is hinting already - Stop too much partying, stop over spending, stop eating out, go back to roots, plan ur monthly expenses and try to bring it down Basically prepare for that rise of 25% -Iran and US or US or Cuba or US or Any other countries or CHINA OR TAIWAN anything Anything is possible and prepare for the worst - Coming to India directly in this conflict, US just left hopes on Pakistan after they gave Iran access to their infrastructure. US shows one thing but plan it differently They will try to ignite things here too and everything must be watched not closely, but from far - Ultimately all countries are trying it's best India is doing well till now thanks to foot soldiers who actually work behind the scenes and plan for govt in their policies and planning. But things are gonna get ugly - Prime minister statement from Netherlands is not just a coincidence, he tried to convey that msg to entire EU.. middle east and Asian countries!! World stage statement hits big and matter most and that's why he chose that stage - Prime minister knows what's coming, world knows what's happening but now it's time for all to unite and put efforts to finish the things off!! I tried my best to give u an idea of this total situation Without being biased to anyone I hope I did justice in this explanation Keeping an eye on further developments and will update more on this in coming days!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!!

Welcome to Amrit Kaal, mitron! When global crude oil prices plummeted, the Modi Government pocketed billions in profits, and now - 3 months after a completely predictable crisis - the public is being forced to absorb the pain. This government’s crisis management is only to save Adani from prosecution, not to save the common public from economic shocks. Instead of giving a plan on how the poor will be shielded from shocks, they are suffocating the people day by day. The people are completely fed up with this regime and its mismanagement.
