Canada's forests are no longer a safe and stable reserve of carbon for the planet. Since 2000, wildfires in Canada worsened by the warming weather have emitted *far* more carbon dioxide than intact forests have drawn down. Past a tipping point. We are in a climate emergency.

Keep in mind, the heatwaves, wildfires, droughts happening across the world are within "safe" climate change of 1.2°C warming. We are on course to double that. There is no time to waste. Break free from fossil fuels. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy
