@MikeArnoldTruth Can't wait!! But doubt it will be more shocking than what we already know about the sultan involvement in the terrorism going on in Nigeria or the fact that multiple former military generals and security advisors have come out to indict the Nigerian govt as sponsor of terrorism

@Akpomamus186428 @instablog9ja How is Nigeria supposed to succeed when terrorists are allowed to run free and destroy everything in sight? The military isn't failing if they're stopping the terrorists from getting worse. But if Boko Haram and ISIS succeed then we all die and that's just the end of the story

@AdaAma18 The fight against Boko Haram has always been a very complex problem, and terrorist groups of this kind can only exist as long as they have support from the population.

@pleasur0 @bukolasaraki Blame game again? Saraki didn’t install Buhari single-handedly. Millions voted for him in 2015, including many who now complain. Jonathan’s era had peak Boko Haram, Chibok, etc. Buhari’s 8 years failed to fix it. Now in 2026 it’s still raging.

Friday, May 15: Gunmen attacked three schools in Orire LGA, Oyo State, and abducted dozens of students and 7 teachers. Monday, May 18: A video of teacher Michael Oyedokun pleading for help circulated. He was murdered shortly after. Tuesday, May 19: Two CRIN staff at Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, were abducted by six armed men—the same Cocoa Research Institute where farmers were taken in March. All of this, in a matter of days, in one state. This is heartbreaking. It is painful. And it should concern every one of us. Innocent people, including young children, children who should be at home with their parents, are being held captive. The severity of the situation cannot be overstated. I extend my sincere condolences to the family of Michael Oyedokun and to all those who have been affected by these tragic incidents. My thoughts and prayers are with them, and with every family anxiously waiting for the safe return of their loved ones. I urge the Federal Government and our security agencies to act with urgency and deploy every available resource to secure the release of all those still in captivity. Those responsible for these cruel and senseless acts must be found and brought to justice. May Almighty Allah heal our land.

@MosesMozear50 @mobilisingniger Absolutely right. Terrorist groups pose a serious threat to Nigeria's stability. We need the support and cooperation of our people to combat them. Local protection is crucial. Star police could be a strong tool in the fight against terrorism.

This one is trying to set-up and force the hand of the president, again allowing this man who is a non-state actor to control or operate in Nigeria is never a good idea, our security forces, if he is so keen in solving security problems, let him work with security agencies. We don't want another Nnamdi Kanu 2.0 in Nigeria.

Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorism Collaborators in Kwara By: Zagazola Makama Troops of 22 Brigade have arrested two suspected terrorism collaborators during an intelligence-led operation in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State. Security sources said the suspects were apprehended at about 11:00 a.m. on May 18 by troops deployed at Patrol Base Zambufu following credible information on alleged movement of weapons in the area. The troops reportedly responded swiftly to the information and intercepted the suspects in connection with suspected terrorist-related activities. During preliminary interrogation, the suspects allegedly claimed they were invited by police operatives to assist in locating a suspected terrorist hideout. They further alleged that they observed individuals they believed to be police officers transporting weapons in a vehicle to an unknown destination. Security sources said the claims were being investigated by relevant authorities to verify the circumstances surrounding the incident and establish the facts. The suspects are currently in military custody undergoing further interrogation and profiling for appropriate action. Authorities said investigations were ongoing to uncover possible arms movement networks and other individuals linked to criminal activities in the area.

Troops Recover Six Motorcycles After Encounter With Terrorists in Katsina By: Zagazola Makama Troops of 17 Brigade, in collaboration with police operatives and local vigilantes, have recovered six motorcycles following an encounter with suspected terrorists in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. Security sources said the incident occurred at about 5:50 p.m. on May 19 when troops deployed at Forward Operating Base Malumfashi, alongside other security personnel, conducted a fighting patrol around Yamama village. During the patrol, the troops reportedly sighted suspected terrorists operating within the area and immediately engaged them. The terrorists were said to have fled towards the Gora general area, prompting a pursuit by the troops. However, movement was reportedly hindered by difficult terrain, which limited further advance of the patrol team. Despite the limitation, troops engaged the fleeing suspects with long-range weapons and subsequently exploited the general area. During the follow-up sweep, six motorcycles believed to have been used by the suspects were recovered. Security sources said operations had been intensified in the area to locate the fleeing elements and deny terrorist groups freedom of action within Malumfashi and adjoining communities.

@drkenon2 I have always said it. The first attack of terrorists in Lagos will be in Ikorodu. It's close proximity to Ogun state is a problem. We need our security and intelligence agencies to be on the money. Protect all our borders. If Lagos is hit, we are all finished.

In 2020, my investigation revealed how illicit drug is shipped from South America via West Africa to Europe. In the line of the recent discovery of a method lab in Ogun by the NDLEA and thr revelation by the US Africom that South American cartel are working with Islamists to move drug through West Africa, it is clear that the route is still active.
