One thing I will say that #Scream7 got wrong: Lucas & Marco needed to switch roles. We needed a Ghostface connection to both Sidney AND Tatum. Even though Tatum knew Jessica, Lucas would’ve made more impact than Marco just because Tatum was the one held hostage. People could say a mother & son duo would’ve been obvious, but so was Billy & Stu. Like Randy always said: #simplicity. I feel like they added Marco just to do another ‘90’s role’ for the fans with Ethan Embry, but it just didn’t make an impact. Lucas also had the perfect opportunity to have a fake out death because of Chloe being a distraction.
