Again the point is that you’re over your skis on this. If you add up a bunch of hospitals with higher end funding that will add up to more than a singular hospital with a lot of funding. But that doesn’t mean that ‘Harvard’ is a unique place for doing biomedical research. There are plenty of places that do similar quality work to each of the Harvard hospitals and just as much or more of it. And it’s obviously not a tragedy if Harvard gets a little less and other places get a little more for a few years which is the thing that you’re histrionic about.

@dinoblood777 I don't think it is a moot point? The ball being hid here is "households". Most illegal immigrants live in a household with US citizens. The reason the household can access welfare programs is because the individual citizens are eligible.

If Bernie Sanders says "60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck" or Elizabeth Warren says "62% of bankruptcies are caused by medical issues" it is very appropriate to ask them follow up questions about the provenance of those claims.
