@ArtemR My thoughts exactly when I opened my Twitter timeline today 😄 Just like the good old days.

I love that someone figured out how to make the Steam Controller shimmy the other day and now it can shimmy all the way to the charging puck and start charging.
This is what the internet was invented for.

@FossPrime @Dexerto @HardwareSteam @valvesoftware Also, check your DMs when you have a chance 😄
I just wanted to confirm whether I pinned your comment on YouTube or someone else’s who simply re-uploaded your work. The different usernames made it a bit hard to tell.

@verylazypixels @Dexerto @HardwareSteam @valvesoftware It helped that I had experience adding Steam Controller support to Moonlight... See the massive spec file sourced from Steam Link for Android decompiling.
Thanks for the inspiration! BTW. Did you try and do audio playback over WebHID? Is it possible?

@FossPrime @Dexerto @HardwareSteam @valvesoftware Audio over WebHID is 100% possible. I had it implemented on my RC page, and it worked quite well. I ended up removing it because I didn’t want to overshadow the original inspiration behind my project: Steam Haptics Singer. The page now links directly to their project 🙂

@FossPrime @Dexerto @HardwareSteam @valvesoftware It never occurred to me to decompile the app - that’s a very clever idea 😄 There are actually a few things I’d like to do with the Steam Controller where decompiling could come in handy, so thanks for the idea 😉

@TheGameVerse Thanks for sharing it and for linking back to the original video. I really appreciate it. ❤️

No way! This looks very similar to the first iOS game I made back in 2012. I actually ported it to the web last year using Claude as well, just for fun:

The controls aren’t as good as yours since it was originally designed for iOS, but it’s still cool to see such a similar idea :)

@matteo311 I was thinking of disassembling my Deck and putting it inside together with a hub - that would make it a real Steam Machine. But couldn’t risk losing the only Deck I have. Seeing the price changes on the Deck now that was a good decision :)

@verylazypixels Nothing inside yet. I was thinking of putting a steam deck dock inside, to be extra trolly.

@road0724day Any chance you can provide a link for the cheap ones?
