@BooksToReadBTR I feel like I would want to read the book that I love for the first time again because there's no better feeling than being excited while reading something amazing.

@_JennShelton Never heard of it, but just checked it and it sounds pretty amazing!
English

@BexBookaholic I know! Here it used to be pleasantly hot when it was 30 degrees (years ago), and now it's different. It's horrible. The climate is definitely different.
English

@vesna_reads Yeah I hear you. Although all bets are off with climate change
English

@BexBookaholic But to be fair, I live in "hotter" environnent than you. Even though I know UK heat can be brutal. I was sweating like crazy at 25 degrees in Ireland because of the humidity.
English

@Fantasy4theAges I'm gonna have to get audible then and go trough them. 😀
English

@vesna_reads 100% Yes. I read them all first (except the last one). Then went back and did they as audiobooks. That last one? Didn't even bother reading. THIS is a rare time when the audiobook IS the definitive version, IMO.
English

@krlezijana UK is pretty bad when temperatures go up to 30... I never went there really but I was in Ireland and 24 after the rain when the sun came up was horrible. It's so humid you feel like you're dripping in sweat. I can't imagine 30.
English

@RadenkoCrn59417 I have this on my tbr for years now. I don't know why I still didn't pick it up.
English

Finished reading Piranesi by Susanna Clarke.
This was a novel concept of different world where it is not just a different version of our own with different races and set in different time period, it is just the house with infinite halls, vestibules and staircases.
Liked how the house has left profound effect on main character of Piranesi and how we slowly together with him find out that he had a life before he came to the house and how he came to be in this situation where we find him at the beginning of the book.
Cant say that I loved it like many others but I certainly enjoyed it.

@krlezijana I started with Way of Kings which is a monstrosity size of a series so maybe not a good idea to start. With series better start with Mistborn or if you want something more YA and sci-fi, Skyward seriez is amazing!
English

@vesna_reads Thank you! Yeah, i know he’s more of a series writer but i get a little intimidated with those sometimes
English

@krlezijana Or maybe Tress of the Emerald Sea which I loved... It's less "high" fantasy, more cozy and fairytailish.
English

@NoSaintsBooks I wouldn't want to try 40 in UK. I'd stay inside on air conditioning, order food home and stay on sick leave until it goes away. 🤣
English

@NoSaintsBooks Exactly.. People usually don't understand it's not the temperature, it's the humidity. It's easier being on 35 in Turkish dry climate for instance than 25 in UK.
English

@vesna_reads Exactly this. The weather changed overall, sun is stronger now than years ago, but because of humidity 25 here is way hotter than in another country in Europe. I remember when 25 was light jacket weather lol. 30 is unbearable here.
English

@LowriMererid_ Uh, I didn't know this dish. I just googled a recipe and I should definitely give it a try. Experimenting a bit with asian cuisine and this looks absolutely perfect!
English

@vesna_reads It’s called Dan Dan noodles-
Noodles, pak choi, tenderstem broccoli, carrot, soy mushrooms and sugar snap peas with dan dan sauce! It was absolutely lush!😮💨
