I wasn't aware there was another all-electric semi on the roads. How do the specs compare to Tesla Semi? #eCascadia Picture from Burnaby, BC Canada today. @DriveTeslaca @ElectrekCo @vevabc

@FVClimateAction Exactly! The fact that plugging in at a home charging spot is so convenient, the time it takes (30 seconds all in and out) is negligible. With current #EVRange exceeding 300kms in most vehicles, that’s once a week, or more! (PS. Keep your battery SoC 40-75% to max longevity!)

We're often asked "How long does it take to charge an EV?" (reasonable question). This month our family's EV charged 100% of the time at home while it was parked. Since we never waited for a charge at all. No Time At All! @vevabc what are your thoughts?

Volta Trucks, founded in 2019, files for bankruptcy. The insolvency of the designated battery supplier Proterra in August had a serious impact on Volta Trucks' production plans and reduced the possible unit numbers. In addition, these uncertainties would have had a negative impact on capital raising. There are 3 BEV insolvencies in Germany alone and now a Swedish one. Is anyone counting? When the consolidation is over, Tesla will emerge stronger and will have further expanded its market dominance.

In case you missed it — we shared lots of exciting details about the purpose of our production-intent builds in our latest blog post. This video showcases our latest factory layout (though some details are intentionally simplified). We're currently stamping body parts for our production-intent (PI) builds. Once all body parts are validated, they'll be bonded together to form the complete body structure of Aptera. Next, the team will start assembling our production-intent builds. Our PI builds will undergo rigorous testing, focusing on key components such as suspension, brakes, airbags, thermal systems, powertrain, battery, and software. Safety and crash testing are next on the agenda for PI builds, which includes regulatory compliance checks, quality assurance, durability testing, and fine-tuning for efficiency and safety. Then, we'll be ready to start mass production and commence customer deliveries. What we've all been waiting for! It's going to be an exciting journey – one we're thrilled you're a part of. @PluggedinEv Jeff Dahn, Dept of Chemistry, Dalhousie University, Halifax, and battery expert recommends 30-75% range for best longevity, but newer formulations and battery mgt are doing just fine as ‘million mile batteries’

Great thread. Keep your #EV🔋battery pack bt. 20 to 80% as much as you can. Avoid extremes for 98% of your driving.

Cadillac has brought the Celestiq to Vancouver to shoot some promotional footage. Production is set to begin later this year, and it will start at US$340,000. No price for Canada yet, but a straight exchange puts it at around C$457,000. 📸: u/lifecityworld

My iPhone is 1.5 years old and the battery’s at 89% of its original capacity. My 8-year-old Nissan Leaf (with its notoriously bad thermal management) is at 81%. The Leaf is doing pretty well in comparison! 🔋

Not having Xhitter on my phone has been a soul enhancing experience. I've been in Vancouver for the @FullyChargedShw live event in Vancouver which was, to adopt a north Americanism, 'totally awesome!' Cannot wait to go back next year. I ❤️ Canada!
