@_vade Yea, you might find you have to uncheck it sometime in the future if you get dynamic linking errors when trying to run asan or tsan

@wilshipley I’m sure this has been discussed but assuming earth becomes inhospitable, wouldn’t it be easier to make a self sustaining colony here? If you have to pick between two dead planets might as well choose the one with all the people and materials.

@_vade Been doing proof of concepts the last 3 months or so, and it seems like the pain of making swift work on windows is offset by the speed of working developing on Mac.

@_vade No GUI luckily, I'm hoping someone cracks that nut before I need it. Tooling is great on Mac, so the plan is to dev there, make sure everything works on linux and finally check on windows.

This hope of being able to write strong open source swift tools across platforms just became that much more tenable: swift.org/blog/future-of…

@_vade I'm about to pull the trigger on a huge all swift/c/c++ project for Mac/Windows/Linux... its probably confirmation bias, but I keep seeing positive signs like this!

@chrisatlatenite @_inside you override nssliders drawing, but appkit always made that unenjoyable... let me check quick if my custom slider has any private API calls (which you obvs can't get away with if you wanna do AppStore)

Dumb question... can anyone tell me if there's an easy way to sub-class NSSlider to make it look like a typical Apple ProApps slider? I feel like @_inside messed around with ProApps UI elements many years ago, but I can't find the GitHub repo? #objc #xcode
