Start treating them like the first test of your company culture. Because if you can't advocate for someone BEFORE they join, why would they believe you'll advocate for them AFTER?

Look at how @joekent16jan19 answers questions then compare this to most any politician/talking heads. When someone is telling the truth there isn't much thinking before answering because it's the truth, it just comes out. Joe is a truthful person. No teleprompter, like most use, just questions with straight forward answers. This is what honesty and integrity look like.
