codex tip: ask codex to do its research first and then use set_goal to set an appropriate goal instead of /goal It results in massively better prompt and downstream results! all my prompts would start with requirements gathering and research and once done set_goal

I think GPT Live 1 can end the call with you. I just said 'okay I'm going to bed, goodnight' and it ended the call.

@athyuttamre @kevinleeme The only thing that would be amazing is increasing its context window so it says less of “hmm let me check on that”

New OpenAI GPT-live voice model feels light years ahead of the previous voice experience. Ran through a test exec coaching session during my morning workout and it was shockingly good. Listened intently, never cut me off, and responded within milliseconds.

@scaling01 "juice" is literally only relevant to chatgpt and it's not comparable between models so this is a stupid fucking post

@TokenGremlin Wrong. They want ChatGPT to do things for them. An agentic experience is required for that.

I think OpenAI may be overestimating how many people actually want a deeply agentic experience by default. A large part of the audience does not want Codex-level powers, aggressive usage quotas, complex workflows, or an AI constantly trying to act on their behalf. They just want a very capable conversational model with generous limits, strong memory, good context handling, and a simple chat interface. Agentic features are valuable, but they should not replace the core ChatGPT experience. For many users, the simple chat is still the product.

If you were using Codex before, two things to do 1. Keep using Codex. It is for you 2. Tell your friends and family about ChatGPT Work who you always wanted to show Codex but they’re not as technical and don’t work with code every day and tell me how it goes

@hankgreen This is a stupid post. There is nothing irresponsible about it nor is it a conflict of interest. It is irresponsible not to use AI in the field of medicine at this point.

@_catwu Computer Use needs to NOT takeover the whole computer. Codex does this much much better!

Claude Code can now open any website inside the desktop app. Claude can use your production app, open the links it sends you, check Twitter, and even watch the FIFA World Cup!
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs

Claude Code on desktop now has an in-app browser. Claude can pull up docs, designs, or any other site. It can read, click through, and interact the same way it does with your local dev servers. It's sandboxed and configurable: you choose whether sessions persist.

How to solve it: 1. Keep ChatGPT as-is. Two tabs. One for Chat, one for Work. ChatGPT Work is the Codex for normies. Allow DEVs to go in and change it themselves from Work -> Codex as a default. Now you have cloud Codex and you keep the branding. 2. Make the app the same.
Olivia Moore@omooretweets

I respectfully disagree! ~10% of the global population uses ChatGPT weekly, most of whom are using it like a Google replacement (basic searches) Power users, most of whom are developers, are fantastic...but we need to start exposing the mainstream consumer to what AI can do

@ishuagra02 Just make it 'Codex' instead of Code, only for branding/nostalgia

@scaling01 It's an insane model. There are still certain problems I'm having 5.6 fail on that go to Fable, but for the most part, it handles it like a boss.
