No other word for it: disaster. What the Conservatives did to the UK national debt - even before the pandemic - should never be forgotten. It's why politics in the 2020s isn't anything like politics in the 2000s. Low growth + high debt + higher interest rates after the pandemic provided a toxic trio of economic fundamentals for Labour to reckon with. It's why we are pushing forward on the growth mission (more to do), sticking to our fiscal rules, and doing all we can to expand the supply-side of the UK economy so interest rates come down.

After watching #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack, I wonder if Yvette Cooper will proscribe the IDF as a terrorist organisation. Which they clearly are.
And I wonder if Lisa Nandy will make an emergency statement condemning the IDF in the strongest possible terms.
