Two game changing catches by Axar Patel, just super stuff! One simple drop by Brooks. Catches win matches! Jai Ho!🇮🇳⭐️⭐️⭐️

Massive recency bias but that catch from Axar Patel is the 21st century version of Kapil Dev’s iconic take off Viv Richards at Lord’s in the 1983 World Cup final #T20WorldCup

Hope #AbhishekSharma proves his mettle in the next two games, or else he’ll be remembered as India’s Shahid Afridi - a “tukka” player who clicks one day and disappears the next. His performance in this tournament has been atrocious, even in the field. #INDvWI

Bursting with pride and relief for @IamSanjuSamson after his superlative innings in today’s virtual quarterfinal against the WestIndies. I had suffered for him as earlier setbacks saw him lose his place in the side. Today he showed the world why he deserved to be there in the first place. Proud of Thiruvananthapuram’s native son, the Pride of India, #NammudeSanju! 🇮🇳 #WorldCup #INDvWI

@AniGuha Agree on Usman. Taking him off after his first over only to be handed the ball in the last few was suicidal

@vicktalker Brook played the innings of the tournament so it all became moot. Only 2 other English batsmen went to double figures. They were 8 down, and struggled to close. At the 13th over mark, Pakistan was a wicket away from winning. They missed a trick by not giving Usman a second over.

PAK looked in control of the game for 33 overs , and then it slipped away in no time. Lesson to be taken from ENG’s chase. Not everyone has to tonk the ball. Playing around one set batsman is all that’s needed on most days. #T20WorldCup

To be fair, Pakistan PM @CMShehbaz did say Pakistan will not be turning up for the game against India on Feb 15. #INDvsPAK
