Pre-fill donation amounts Suggested pre-filled prompts on your online form are a subtle way of increasing gifts. Donors are often willing to give a little more because they feel better about selecting a suggested figure rather than entering their own. #charity #onlinefundraising

Three is the magic number! When offering multiple choice donation amounts on your web donations form, 3 is the preferred number of options. Remember to still offer an ‘own’ amount option to avoid discouraging supporters from donating at all. #charity #charitysupport #onlineforms

Less fields the better! Keep your donation form as short & simple as possible. Only ask for data that you know you will use & keep it to 1pg. A dynamic form can help as it auto-removes questions based on previous answers. #charity #onlineforms #charitysupport #onlinefundraising

Build left-right on donation forms. Have the lowest pre-filled donation amount on the left and increase amounts towards the right. Research shows arranging low-high has a positive effect on donations, whereas high to low can decrease donations by >16% #charity #charitytuesday

Most popular time for single donations is between 10:00 and 18:00. It is worth noting there is a noticeable drop-off during the lunch hour (13:00–14:00) so bear this in mind when timing email and social campaigns. #charitysupport #charityfundraising #onlinefundraising #charity
