Mali and the AES will learn the hard way that the only support Russia provides when its partner countries are being overrun by extremists are empty platitudes & anti-western conspiracy theories.

The AES was always a house of cards.. and it's about to all come tumbling down. As for all you easily brainwashed fools who love Traore.. maybe you'll finally learn a lesson and learn to identify Russian propaganda and information operations. You think the West isn't your friend.. but reality says it's the only external friend you have that's competent enough to be an actual friend.

We will die defending our freedom—not for Russia, not for the West. We partnered with Russia because the West refused to help us get weapons to defend ourselves. The Russians did. Four hundred years with the West—what have we achieved? Wars, wars, and more wars. None were in our interest. Everyone treats Africa as just a source for their natural resources. We will only work with people who see us as equals and respect our sovereignty. Russia did that. And we’re not asking Russia to fight the war imposed on us by your masters—we will fight for ourselves.

When a random African immigrant is caught in this kind of situation, it is culture, but when a whole ruling & elite class of white people are caught in a child trafficking, sexual abuse, rape, paedophilia, cannibalism & organ harvesting ring, it is not culture. I'm not sure you had anything to say on Epstein, but here you are already quick to brand this one culture, rather than facing the individual who's committed the said crime. If I may ask, whose culture? This is the self-hate I always talk about. The idea that people who look like you are the only ones prone to criminal activities. It's white worship, and it is sad.

Child molestation, sexual battery. It never ends, does it? It’s a culture.

That said, now that Musk has defeated Twitter, those of us who are still interested in the idea of a public square need to migrate somewhere. And if he buys that one, we migrate again. He can't keep raising $44bn to take over the entire global conversation each time.

The "Pan-Africanists want to blame white people instead of taking responsibility" dumbasses from Nigeria sound just as dumb as their ancestors in the 1950s who argued that instead of fighting for independence from colonisers, Africans should "hold their warrant chiefs accountable." They used to trot out the exact same brain dead sound bites: "Is it Governor MacPherson that told the warrant chief in charge of your town not to build roads and hospitals? Hold your thieving warrant chiefs to account instead of blaming your misfortunes on white men in Lagos." And just like those dumbasses from the 50s could never spot the obvious relationship between Governor MacPherson and their local warrant chief, their modern descendants will likewise die young and stupid, never having spotted the link between Trump/Obama/Biden/Macron/Starmer and their friendly local drug lord-turned-president. When people's entire intellectual heritage is purified, triple-filtered essence of olodo, there's nothing you can do for them🤷🏿

As much as we all love to bag on Gen Z, the data shows that Gen Z is statistically the generation that has rejected empire, hegemony, colonialism and forever wars. The kids are alright after all.

The Spearhead
The Spearhead@Spearhead_Af·
Capitalism, Imperialism and The Exploitation of Africa The SpearHead’s Mckay Chukwu (@Big_Mck) examines how Africa’s mineral wealth continues to fuel global profit while the people extracting it remain trapped in poverty. Focusing on cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mckay connects the harsh realities faced by mine workers, including children, to the vast fortunes built by global tech companies and billionaires whose products depend on those supply chains. This imbalance is not accidental. It is rooted in a wider capitalist and imperial system that depends on Africa’s cheap labour and resources, showing that the continent’s impoverishment is part of a long-standing economic arrangement in which value is extracted from African workers and communities while wealth is concentrated elsewhere.

The African student who memorizes Western economic theory is not receiving a neutral education. They are being taught to see their continent through the eyes of the people who designed its current arrangements. They will learn about comparative advantage, the theory that says each country should specialize in what it produces most efficiently. In practice, for many African countries, this means: keep producing raw materials, because that is your comparative advantage. Do not process them. Do not manufacture. Do not climb the value chain. Export the cocoa bean. Import the chocolate. Export the cotton. Import the shirt. Export the bauxite. Import the aluminum. This is called efficiency. What it is, actually, is a permanent assignment of African economies to the bottom of every value chain, guaranteed by a theory that presents this arrangement as the natural outcome of rational markets rather than as the result of deliberate historical policy, colonial infrastructure investment, and trade rules written by the people at the top. But the student learns the theory before they learn the history. The theory makes the history invisible. That is the function of the curriculum.

Nigerians are deeply unserious people. So this tweet is getting 1 million views and reactions, but when lst year your National Assembly held a hearing about altering the CONSTITUTION, and the hearing was held in partnership with the UK government and the US government (via PLAC/MacArthur Fdn), you people didn't know that your country has been bought and paid for? Foreign governments are literally altering your constitution under your nose and you said anyone raising that alarm was a "conspiracy theorist", but now that one random guy tweeted about buying sand from individual Chinese business people who issued him a receipt in Mandarin, THAT is where you oloriburukus draw the line? Not when your oyibo overlords were literally ALTERING YOUR CONSTITUTION? God forbid you people.

I bought sand from Chinese men and signed a receipt written in Chinese. I was running a construction project and needed sharp sand urgently. Went to the dredging site. Sand being pumped straight from the river in large quantities. I asked who owned the operation. Chinese men bought the land. The river included. Our river. Our sand. Their business. I asked for the price. We agreed. Then they handed me a receipt. Written entirely in Chinese. I said I cannot sign what I cannot read. They said drop the sand and collect your refund. I needed that sand badly. I signed. They released the sand. I sat in my car thinking about this country.
