I am not sure where the Vancouver Whitecaps end up but my sense is that it won't be at the PNE grounds. Learning more about the physical land around track and its got a lot of problems under the hood. Not likely to get through all the checks needed to build. BC Place deal might buy time, but if end goal is PNE or stadium over the tracks, this is a dead end. BTW, is the ampitheatre over $200M now?

The problem with the NHL Playoff Format is the matchups are all over the place. We just got the 1-seed vs the 8-seed in the 2nd Round instead of the 1st Round. The Hurricanes swept the Flyers with ease. I want great teams battling deep in the Playoffs. Not what we just saw.

The Atlanta Flames debuted in 1972, they never had a 1st overall pick. The team then moved to Calgary, Alberta, in 1980. The Calgary Flames, in 46 years, have never once had a 1st overall, or even a top 3 pick. That’s 54 years in total. Spare me with your team is unluckier.
