The real story shouldn't be Starmer it’s this. Ben Habib casually dropping an allegation that Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson were each handed £1m by Christopher Harborne to fix an election. Truly astonishing claims but sure, let’s all pretend the headline issue is Starmer. The £5m bung is the tip of the iceberg, our press should be camped outside Farage's girlfriends house not 10 Downing Street waiting for the police to arrive #ReformUK #Farage

🚨BREAKING🚨 Keir Starmer once reclined his seat on a short-haul flight. In other news Nigel Farage has received a £5m gift, a house, helicopter flights, a Maldives trip and been accused of throwing an election for £1m. Here's Sam Coates with more on the reclined seat scandal.

Dear Labour MPs, Keir Starmer isn't your enemy, the media is your enemy. Show some backbone and defend the man who bought Labour into government after 14 years in the wildness and has done more in 18 months for families than the tories did in 14 years. #C4News

I’m absolutely furious today. Not with the PM, but our toxic press and wet behind the ears Labour backbenchers. Get a grip and think of the country.

Labour have halved the asylum backlog, yet the media never mention it. Why is that?

Please repost if you agree that it would be extremely unwise for Labour to remove Keir Starmer right now

Net migration down 📉 Asylum backlog slashed 📉 Look past the Westminster psychodrama and Reform stunts and you'll see an emerging picture of a government getting on with the job.

The British media is doing everything it can to make this mendacious, corrupt, incompetent, lazy, security risk the PM. Ask yourselves why? Why do they want that so badly, who benefits? It's not going to be the British people. Follow the money, always follow the money.

Hey @BBCNews , got a story for you! About 11 reform new councillors have stepped down or been expelled already! It will cost a lot to elect new ones. How about running that as a story, just for a smidgen of impartiality?

Out of curiosity, why is there so much pressure on Starmer to resign But no pressure on Nigel Farage who took a £5,000,000 gift from a foreign billionaire and coincidentally started calling for the very thing the foreign billionaire wants for the UK, crypto deregulation?

Times columnist Fraser Nelson pointed out over the weekend that new Home Office statistics paint a striking picture: net migration has fallen dramatically since Labour entered government, now sitting around 80 per cent below the record highs reached under the Conservatives. And it is not just the headline figure shifting. Remove international students from the equation and long-term immigration levels are now “probably at a multi-year low”, Nelson wrote on his Substack — a remarkable turnaround after years of Tory chaos, broken promises and soaring numbers. The asylum backlog is also being rapidly reduced under Labour. After ballooning in the aftermath of Covid while successive Conservative ministers appeared paralysed and unwilling to grip the crisis, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has begun making serious progress in clearing the system. Away from the Westminster psychodrama and endless Reform stunts, an uncomfortable reality is emerging for Labour’s opponents: the Government may quietly be delivering results where the Tories failed for years. Israel dropped bombs on a school run by nuns today in Nabatieh, South Lebanon. They obliterated it. Not a military site. A school run by religious sisters.
