This will be a long one… Branlin, my son. 🙏🏽 ❤️ “This is me waking up from my colonoscopy last week to hear the surgeon saying he'd found what he estimated was at least stage 3 colorectal cancer. Now, when your doctor says "at least" that's usually not a good sign. Stage 3's survival rate is something like 75%. Stage 4 is not where you want to be. The next day we went to get scanned to see how far the cancer's spread. I was the only patient in the waiting room under 65. I started thinking how unfair it all seemed. I'm active, l'm in shape. I don't party and never did (my sister will claim this is because I was never invited to parties and that's technically true). I eat well, go to bed early and follow all the latest health trends. I'm longevity's freaking poster child. I never considered I'd get cancer young. And then a 5 year old boy entered the same waiting room for HIS scans and suddenly my situation doesn't seem so unfair and I realize there are many types of cancer, none more tragic than the mental kind where we (myself included) start believing the malignant idea that if we make all the right choices today there's a universal rulebook making sure tomorrow pays dividends. All this to say... All we truly have is now. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Everything is relative. When the scans came back showing the cancer as advanced stage 2 (it has not yet spread to other organs) I was thrilled. No sarcasm, I fist pumped for ten seconds straight when they told me and an outside observer would have guessed l'd won the lottery. I'd like to thank my wife Ashley and my incredible circle of family and friends for circling the wagons. You all have some big bad and serious wagons and had this been stage 4 it would have a battle for the ages that would have left every last cancer cell quivering in its nasty little boots. As it is, it will be several months of radiation and chemo and surgery for me but I endeavor to be grateful for every second of it. 🙏❤️”

Prayer Request By Clyde Simmons: Please pray for our son Michael Simmons. He had a stroke with bleeding on the brain Sunday morning & is at Rush Hospital in Chicago in the Neuro ICU. He is only 39 and has gone through so much over the years in his body. He is a testimony to God's sustaining grace. He is in the toughest fight of his relatively young life & regardless of the outcome God is walking with him. ISAIAH 43: 2-3, It is a promise we can cling to because it's in the Holy Bible. 📖👀. Jackie And I are also taking that scripture to ❤️ because we are facing something we have never experienced before as a mother & a father. Through it all God is good even in the tears we cry. 😭 Revelation 21:4.

So Secret Service agents let an armed guy run past them at full speed, fired at least five shots at him — missing the potential assassin completely and maybe shooting another secret service agent instead — & then only apprehended the would be assassin after he tripped and fell.

Radical left-wing groups attempted to sabotage Texas's lawful redistricting efforts, but the Supreme Court's ruling is a clear rejection of these meritless attacks and a victory for the rule of law. Texas's congressional map is lawful, constitutional, and reflects the will of our citizens, and I will continue to aggressively defend its use ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

President Trump needs more elite security. The absolute baddest ass dudes on the planet, guards of pure excellence. Butler, West Palm Beach and now Washington, DC were all different types of security failures. Trump is alive because the assassins were incompetent. We need better.

That said, the majority of Americans may not want their tax dollars subsidizing television networks going forward. We may also wish to boycott corporate sponsors who are either unfazed or secretly delighted by Mr. Kimmel’s nauseating rhetoric.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.
