@Simoncando @_outdooractive_ @russ_rustler @openstreetmap You may need to switch on the cycling activity layer. This shows the NCN and other relevant cycling info. Find it in the map layers panel (button at bottom right of map screen).

I am still a active user of @_outdooractive_ app having been an avid fan of the mighty @viewranger @russ_rustler My only complaint is why are you not using @openstreetmap 's open Cycle Maps?

@mountanon If you connect your ViewRanger account to Outdooractive then you will have access to your poi’s tracks routes etc.

@eeyrsja @karlwalford1984 But you do continue to have access. If you purchased os map regions or tiles, you have access to os landranger and explorer maps in the OA app.

@viewranger I’m struggling on with this app, and there is absolutely no way to get back all my purchased tiles from the uk ! Nearly 1gb worth of tiles I had on ViewRanger as I climb and hike all over the uk. And now you expect me to pay as subscription

@viewranger And as expected the OS maps I'd paid for on #viewranger have been switched off today. Very poor and #outdooractive can stick their subscription model........

@viewranger @simon_harper @freekoutfitch There must be a user guide on how to get the OS maps that I spent a fortune buying instead of the less than useless openstreetmap.

@JamesGrantPhoto @_outdooractive_ You still have access to your map tiles, map regions, purchased in ViewRanger and all your tracks, routes and poi.

A lot has already been said but I think switching off access to an app that could still work until it breaks through incompatibility where people have paid for maps is the exact reason why you shouldn’t move to the new inferior platform. @viewranger @_outdooractive_

@iansave Your maps, along with your other ViewRanger data, is available to use in our Outdooractive app once you have connected your account.

@GSheehy @AdventureEire @_outdooractive_ For users who have existing OSI maps, these should be available in Outdooractive app imminently (they may even be already available).

@AdventureEire @viewranger @_outdooractive_ Those talks are ongoing for a long time now. OSi are actually thinking about an app themselves. I don't need any more MS courses, thanks.

The sale/switchover of @viewranger to @_outdooractive_ is making an awful lot of happy customers, unhappy. Would be a good subject for a business study on forcing a more expensive (possibly inferior) product on existing customers and pissing them off no end.
