🚨 THE TIMES IS REPORTING: You absolute cannot make this up. Reform UK’s entire Makerfield campaign is built on screaming about protecting Brexit in a 64% Leave seat. Their own candidate Robert Kenyon DID NOT EVEN VOTE in the 2016 referendum. 🤡 Nigel Farage is out here lecturing the North about patriotism and sovereignty, whilst his hand-picked candidate stayed at home for the biggest political vote in modern British history. Are Reform voters honestly falling for this utter hypocrisy or does consistency just not matter to them anymore? 😂 Grab the popcorn because the replies to this are going to be wild. What is your excuse for this one? 👇

Hard-won battles were fought to secure a fairer, more equal society, but progress is fragile. Reform wants to tear up the Equality Act, dismantle our protections and take us backwards.

How come @BBCr4today were unable to quote these profits at him and the massive £7.43 million pay package that Lord Wolfson gets?? Are there actually any real journalists at BBC these days???
Dan Wyke 🦠➡️🧠🔥@Dan_Wyke

While arguing that Next can't afford to pay 16-24 year olds the minimum wage, CEO Lord Wolfson forgot to say that for the fiscal year ending January 2026, Next reported an operating profit of £1.236 billion, marking a 13.4% increase from the previous year. #r4today

Well, that didn’t last long… ⏱️ Officers swooped in immediately following a late-night street robbery. Officers arrested the suspects within ten minutes, and the watch was returned to its owner.

“Locker-room banter” is a pathetic excuse for blatant misogyny from a grown man. Reform could have called out the overt sexism and condemned it. Instead, they framed it as an “establishment hit job”. Tells you everything you need to know about them. 🦖
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

Update: A Reform UK spokesman says Kenyon's comments about women driving were "locker room banter made more than a decade ago" "We simply don't care about establishment hit jobs. We fully back Rob and are confident he will be an excellent MP for Makerfield"

Jonathan Gullis - 'Our newly elected administration will bring forward a proposal at July’s Full Council to remove the climate emergency declaration made in 2019.' Council Leader, Jonathan Gullis, has also ended the Sustainable Environment Strategy with immediate effect. This included the target for the council to be carbon neutral by 2030. So he's taking the Kent CC approach of sweeping climate change and sustainability under the carpet. Next step will be reciting the Lords Prayer and singing the National Anthem at full council meetings. Newcastle-under-Lyme what have you done? #ReformUK

Shortly after becoming an MP Nigel Farage said life was going pretty well & listed all the reasons that he didn’t need to come back into politics. I wonder what persuaded him? Surely not a £5 million undisclosed gift he thought we would never know about. #faragebung #makerfield

This by-election in Makerfield is fast becoming a litmus test for those who fall for the gaslighting, and those who don't. Reform UK picked the wrong candidate because they have no vetting. Since then, have stopped appearing on the media while they desperately try to scrub Robert Kenyon's past clean. They have completely failed and are now in Gaslight Overdrive* mode. Drip feeding lies across their friendly outlets instead of their usual barrage of TV and radio appearances. Kenyon is clearly unfit for public office, he's a stone-cold atrocity — to borrow a phrase from Gina Linetti. They dropped Danny Kruger right in the mire yesterday and Emma Barnett, rightly, ripped him to pieces. In the run-up to Gorton & Denton by-election, you couldn't move for Reform mouthpieces in the media. Now? Tumbleweeds. They know they've f***ed it but can't be seen to withdraw. It would be a very funny situation if only Robert Kenyon wasn't such a wrong un. *the undiscovered Bruce Springsteen album

🚨 UPDATE: Reform UK says Robert Kenyon did vote for Brexit despite him claiming he didn't in 2019 He wrote: "So anyone who thinks I love Trump, voted Brexit, read the Daily Mail, live in the 1950s, a Tory and 103 is wrong. I’m none of the above"

Nigel Farage and Reform have until nominations close at 4pm today to ditch their Makerfield by-election candidate with brazenly misogynistic views. Or are these views "ok" to Nigel Farage and Reform? 🤔 They’ll show us today.

EXC: Sir Keir Starmer blames Labour MPs calling for him to go on the "frustration for change" amongst voters. On a visit to Portslade in East Sussex, the Prime Minister told me "not everything's perfect... but it's getting better". @itvmeridian

Oops! Looks like Zia Yusuf is about to fall out with yet another Reform MP. Their party conference is going to be fun. Yusuf can't be in the same place as Tice, Anderson or Jenrick now.
