Vanilla+: At first glance the uninitiated think you’re just Vanilla. Maybe you added some C+, maybe you have a mild/moderate sized body and upscale vanilla clothing sets, maybe you have a hairstyle that’s a mashup from other vanilla styles. Your changes are subtle, surgical, few.

There is a wide-range in between the two where you’re neither Vanilla+ nor modbeast. Simply modding every part of your character so it’s no longer out-of-the-box standard does not make you a modbeast. I hope this helps. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I am now using this as an opportunity to retry GShade, but installing Marty's Mods iMMERSE (which was a huge portion of my shader look) is proving to be an unsolvable challenge for me.

An Nvidia driver update turned out to be the culprit for why I couldn't launch FFXIV without crashing, but during my troubleshooting, apparently, my entire ReShade collection of shaders and presets was wiped with no backups.
