i had emails from investors, media and a critical message from my accountant chillin in there :|
I wanted to get cats so I wouldn't have to go outside.
Now we have a nightly ritual of stalking our open air corridor in the apartment building... 3 hours today...
Life is weird.
@MikeKennedyArt@shuwushed I see it clearly on the bullets in the magazine and in the scratches on the sights. Had to zoom in to see it on the body. I think the gradient is so smooth, that it doesn't register as pixel art to me. Great job for using only a 256 px tex.
@viktorzindev@shuwushed On Twitter, the aggressive video compression gives the pixels a slight blur. This model uses a single 256 px texture that is unfiltered, that‘s what separates it from a hi-fidelity asset using high resolution materials with multiple channels and normal maps. Hope this helps!
@MikeKennedyArt@shuwushed This looks great and all... but not like Pixel art to me as well. The gun body texture is too smooth for that...
Begs the question: at what point id something Pixel art... 8k textures use pixels...
@shuwushed I consider that a good thing actually! Goal with these retro projects is to make something look as good as possible with limited “resources” 😎
@yIlovemovies Counterpoint. Maybe they drive like shit and are monetizing road ragers by giving them a way to message them. 99 cents per abuse message.
Confused by the people who put their Venmo or cash app as a sticker on their cars.
Are they expecting me to be so blown away by their driving that I send them money?
"Great right turn $5.00"
@MichaelG_3D 3D is Graphics. Build them a website with 3D models, rig it, animate it. Host it through unity WebGL or some other integration. Do it through shaders. They wanted this.
I just read several Shadow Of The Erdtree steam reviews that are running with the idea that Games Journalists are just tryhard nolifers who love overly hard games.
This is absolutely hilarious given that the same weirdos have been claiming the exact opposite for... ever?
@arvofart Chameleon is really great. I just used it as a reference for a fast paced burger stacking game prototype! Listened to a ton of jazz fusion! It helped with establishing the character of the music, and the game even won in all categories including music!
Chameleon by Herbie Hancock is a perfect object. An unstoppable groove. A timbral masterpiece. Arguably the greatest bass line of all time. Ruined by a hundred thousand bands trying to do too much. But every time I go back to Head Hunters, I remember how great it is
@caitepriestly it's actually really nice to make something without any expectations on genre, complexity or sound. I just use instruments that I want to use. but also, exploring other genres is beneficial. I tend to not use synths, but in the evenings I might!
