We are deeply saddened by the passing of Joe Mulholland, who founded the MacGill Summer School over 45 years ago. His legacy in Glenties and his beloved Co. Donegal will have a lasting impact for years to come. We extend our deepest sympathies to Joe’s family and friends.

Fittingly I heard about Joe’s death in Ballyshannon @officialgaa match between Donegal & Kerry. Joe would have delighted in Donegal’s win. Joe was an extraordinary man whose contribution to current affairs @rte was unparalleled. I enjoyed each & every @MacGillSchool I attended.
