Today, on #WorldCancerResearchDay, we’re using the powerful symbolism of 'Crann Comhair', a commissioned painting by @vincent_devine that reflects AICRI’s mission of collaboration in cancer research. This artwork represents the combined efforts of researchers, clinicians, and advocates across the island of Ireland and worldwide. As we mark this day, Crann Comhair reminds us that real progress happens when we work together. The painting’s elements highlight key aspects of our work: 🌳 The central tree = collaboration 🌷 Wildflowers = patients at the centre 🌬️ Lung-shaped trees = lung cancer research ⚖️ Face-shaped trees = equity in care Check out the full synopsis of the painting here: bit.ly/aicricranncomh… #WorldCancerResearchDay #CancerHasNoBorders #CancerResearchCollaboration #ResearchImpact
